WE ARE HIRING DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER FINANCE & TREASURY
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts (short-term, medium-term, and long-term) to optimize the group’s liquidity position.
- Manage relationships with local and international banks to ensure cost-effective banking arrangements.
- Negotiate and secure banking facilities (working capital lines, term loans, and revolving credit facilities) to support group operations.
- Monitor interest and foreign exchange rate trends to optimize borrowing and forex transactions.
- Ensure timely settlement and reconciliation of treasury transactions with banks.
- Develop and implement forex management strategies to hedge currency risks.
- Identify and recommend investment opportunities for surplus funds, balancing returns, and liquidity needs.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard cash and bank operations across the group.
- Prepare and present periodic treasury and cash flow reports to senior management, and board.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to liquidity, debt coverage, and cash cycle.
- Lead efforts to automate treasury processes, ensuring seamless integration with ERP systems and banking platforms.
- Identify opportunities to streamline treasury workflows and implement best practices across the group.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- CFA, CA, ACCA, or similar professional qualification from reputable institutions.
- 6-8 years of post-qualification experience in treasury management, banking operations, or financial risk management.
- Prior experience working in group-level finance departments or multinational companies is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with banking systems, ERP platforms, and treasury management systems.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Strong analytical skills to manage cash flows, forecasts, and complex financial models.
- In-depth understanding of banking products, debt instruments, and financial markets.
- Knowledge of foreign exchange markets and hedging strategies.
- Negotiation skills to liaise with banks and financial institutions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with senior management.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP tools.
