Deputy Manager – Product Development & Localization

The Role:

Develop and implement strategies for localization of components and assemblies to optimize cost, reduce lead times, and comply with regulatory requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard local suppliers; ensure quality, capacity, and delivery alignment with product requirements and company standards.
Conduct technical analysis of imported parts to develop localization roadmaps and ensure design equivalence, cost-effectiveness, and durability.
Work closely with design, production, procurement, and quality teams to align on specifications, timelines, and resource planning for localization projects.
Maintain comprehensive records including BOMs, drawings, specifications, and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal SOPs throughout the localization and development process.

Requirements:

Education: B.E. (Mechanical / Automotive / Industrial) from a reputed institute.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in product development and localization, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
