ASSISTANT MANAGER TAXATION
Lucky Cement Limited is currently seeking individuals to join us as Assistant Manager – Taxation at our Karachi office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns and Withholding Tax Statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare and file monthly sales tax filings in accordance with Federal and Provincial laws.
- Finalize and file quarterly withholding tax statements under Federal law.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of tax-related ledger balances in financial statements.
- Advise and guide internal stakeholders on applicable tax laws and ensure proper implementation.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and advise relevant stakeholders for efficient implementation.
- Assist internal and legal counsel with tax-related litigations, including preparing for hearings.
- Prepare documents related to various tax notices for submission to tax authorities or consultants.
- Assist the Manager of Taxation with overall company tax matters.
- Ensure the periodic preparation and completion of various tax records.
- Support internal teams in navigating complex tax matters and regulatory changes.
Qualification: ACCA / MBA Finance
Experience: Minimum 03 years of experience in a similar role.
