Job Title: Assistant Manager – Supply Chain Finance

Job Description:

  1. Financial Analysis and Strategy:

Analysing and optimizing financial strategies within the supply chain to improve cash flow and working capital.
Developing financial models and forecasts for supply chain operations.
Identifying cost-saving opportunities and risk management strategies related to the supply chain.

  1. Relationship Management:

Collaborating with various stakeholders such as, factory partners, and internal departments to improve financial processes and ensure efficient supply chain operations.

  1. Supply Chain Financing:

Implementing and managing financing solutions within the supply chain

Product Costing: Monthly costing runs – SAP cost maintenance (all materials) and analysis. Activity overheads recovery planning. Cost Forecasting – estimated working on future cost movements on the finished product. Coordinate with Regional Costing Analyst on the Product costing related updates / timelines

Month End Closing Activities (MEC): To perform the month end closing activities and coordinate with the MEC team to ensure the proper completion of all month end activities pertaining to SCF. Settlement of Production Orders. Provide support to company compliance coordinator for compliance of internal controls.

Stock controlling: Reiteration of strong inventory controls culture 100% monthly stock count conducted to reconcile physical with book Point of contact for annual external stock audit Prompt inventory adjustments including any write-off, gains/losses, expiry product by WD2 Investigating when any losses or gains are identified and reported to the appropriate personnel for correction. Provides training and re-training of stock control techniques and management.

Process Accounting: Focal point for supply chain fixed asset verification conducted annually. Focal person for all ERP and digital tools related projects. Provide SAP, Fiori and digital tools counselling to all user in Pakistan. Conduct data privacy assessments as and when needed.

Factory controlling: Booking of opex, capex bills and plant utilities in SAP Ensuring correct entries are being made with respect to cost centres and cost elements. Correction of expenses/cost centre to reflect true and fair view. Coordinate Factory team on all accounting and finance related issues related to bills of vendors, cheques, pending invoices, MIGO, IR/GR settlement. Coaching the extended team on financial fluency.

  1. Risk Management and Compliance:

Monitoring and mitigating financial risks within the supply chain, including currency fluctuations, credit risks, and regulatory compliance.
Ensuring compliance with international finance regulations and corporate financial policies.

  1. Performance Metrics and Reporting:

Conduct business performance review for overall business and at departmental level.
Develops and presents timely periodic reporting for various management levels in the organization to assure issues are clearly identified and monitored.
Monthly preparation of management reports like KPI, Opex Report, Scorecards etc. and all other reports related to supply chain and working as supply chain analyst.
Opex Business Planning Cycle with inclusion of departments

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree may be preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, supply chain, or related roles, preferably in a multinational or global corporation.
Strong understanding of supply chain operations and financial management.
Proficiency in financial analysis tools and SAP S4, FIORI
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
