Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (ACCA/CA part-qualified preferred).
- Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in corporate taxation.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Sales Tax, Income Tax, and withholding tax regulations.
- Experience working with FBR IRIS, SRB, and other tax portals.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external authorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the company’s overall tax compliance including Sales Tax, Income Tax, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and file monthly and annual tax returns through relevant portals (FBR IRIS, SRB, etc.).
- Ensure timely payment of all tax liabilities and maintain proper documentation of tax records.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure company compliance with updated requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect required data for accurate tax filings.
- Handle tax notices, correspondence, and queries from tax authorities.
- Assist in tax audits by preparing supporting documents and required reconciliations.
- Perform reconciliation of tax records with the General Ledger and financial statements.
- Maintain proper documentation of tax workings, filings, and compliance records.
