Job Opportunity: Production, Planning & Control Executive
The Production Planning and Control Executive will be responsible for assisting in production processes to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products. This role involves planning, coordination, and execution of production schedules, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in developing production plans based on customer demand, sales forecasts, and inventory levels.
Communicate production plans, schedules, and changes to relevant stakeholders.
Generate daily production reports and tracking section-wise production.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and components.
Follow up with internal on-ground teams for data entry and documentation.
Maintain accurate records of production schedules, resource allocations, and performance metrics.
Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure quality control and monitor in-house inventory status
Coordinate with the finishing team for on-time finalization of goods
Analyze production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and efficiency goals.
Address any issues or disruptions in the production process to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement efficiency-enhancing measures.
Analyze performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Generate regular reports on production performance, variances, and efficiency improvements.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies in all production activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience of 1-2 years in production planning and control role in a similar role, preferably in retail industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel.
Proficiency in using production planning software and ERP systems.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
