Twice rejected by ISSB for any of the Armed Forces Courses.
Twice screened out by ISSB for any of the Armed Forces Courses.
Dismissed/Removed/Debarred from any Government Service.
Declared Medically Unfit by an Armed Forces Appeal Medical Board.
Declared Unfit for Flying Duties by any Armed Forces Hospital.
Declared unfit by Armed Forces Hospital except those cleared by Appeal Medical Board.
Withdrawn/Rejected from any of the Armed Forces Training Academies / Institutions.
Withdrawn/Expelled/Discharged on Discipline Grounds from any Armed Forces Academy.
Convicted by a Court of Law for an offense involving moral turpitude.
Overweight candidates.
Submitting false information / forged documents.
Candidates failed in EKT twice in higher qualification courses.
Candidates appeared in Ongoing tests.

Intelligence Test followed by Academic Test in following subjects through e-testing:
- GD (P) / Air Defence, Physics & Maths
- Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Aerospace Engineering
- IT / Logistics / Met / Admin & Special Duties / Accounts / A&SD / JAG Branch
Psychological Test: Personality Test.
Interview by a Preliminary Selection Board.
Final Interview by Air Headquarters Selection Board.
Final Medical Examination.
Final Selection by Air Headquarters on merit.
