Jaffer Brothers (Pvt) Limited is looking for the competent profiles of “𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐚𝐱𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧”.
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree with ACCA /
CA Finalist / ACMA / ACCA
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:
- Work experience of almost 8 to 10 years in tax advisory and compliances at
senior position. - Strong knowledge and understanding of direct and indirect tax laws.
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
- Familiarity with ERP system i.e. Oracle
and SAP will be an advantage. - Good analytical and time management skills
𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Supervise timely preparation and critical review of monthly sales tax computations for group companies, ensuring compliance with Federal and Provincial tax laws.
- Independently prepare annual income tax computations for group companies and directors, ensuring timely payment and filing of returns.
- Compute quarterly advance income tax estimates for tax compliance of group companies.
- Oversee timely filing of periodic income tax and sales tax returns/statements with Federal and Provincial tax authorities.
- Conduct periodic income tax computations for group companies to reflect appropriate tax charges and identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Provide tax advice to group companies, ensuring legal compliance and mitigating tax risks.
- Manage preparation of essential details, reconciliations, and documents for tax audit/assessment/withholding tax monitoring purposes, resolving issues raised by tax authorities.
- Represent group companies before tax authorities in audit/assessment/monitoring proceedings.
- Obtain withholding tax exemption certificates from FBR for non-deduction of taxes on local receipts and overseas payments.
- Pursue tax refunds from tax authorities through strong follow-ups and regular monitoring of tax matters.
- Monitor developments/amendments in tax laws and communicate their effects to management and concerned businesses for timely implementation and compliance.
