PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to faculty, staff, and students across the university. The role requires troubleshooting a wide range of IT issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to user inquiries and requests via phone, email, and in-person support.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems related to hardware, software, and networks.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Document technical issues and resolutions for future reference.
- Provide technical guidance and support for the use of university IT resources.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex issues.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in IT support.
