Applications are invited from interested candidates for the following positions on a contract basis for the Center for Excellence on Countering Violent Extremism, Home Department, Government of Sindh. The initial contract will be of two (2) years, extendable based on satisfactory performance, for the positions listed below:

1. Assistant Director Research and Planning

No. of Vacancy: 1
Age Limit: 40-50 Years
Qualification, Experience and other conditions:
- a. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Strategic and Security Studies, Government & Public Policy, Political Science, Economics.
- b. Minimum 3-5 year’s experience in conducting research, drafting policy papers, producing analysis papers and coordination with academia and government organizations.
- c. Preference will be given to candidate with experience in evidence based research, policy analysis, data collection and surveys, working with law enforcement agencies.

2. Assistant Director Capacity Building

No. of Vacancy: 1
Age Limit: 40-50 Years
Qualification, Experience and other conditions:
- a. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Education, Human Resource, Commerce, Management Sciences, Public Administration.
- b. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Preparing training manuals, conducting training of trainers (ToT), organizing workshops for Law Enforcement Agencies, Youth, Religious Leaders, Women and Community Representatives.
- c. Preference will be given to the candidate with experience of working with law enforcement agencies in capacity building, training design, curriculum development, workshop management.

3. Assistant Director Community Engagement

No. of Vacancy: 1
Age Limit: 40-50 Years
Qualification, Experience and other conditions:
- a. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Sociology, Mass Communication, English, Public Administration, Developmental Studies.
- b. Minimum 3-5 years experience in outreach and community engagement, conducting public awareness campaigns, project implementation in coordination with governmental and non-governmental organizations.
- c. Preference will be given to candidate with experience of working with governmental/non-governmental organizations in community engagement, developing outreach plan, social mobilization through social media, public awareness campaigns, initiating youth and women programs, inter faith harmony seminars.

4. Assistant Director Finance

No. of Vacancy: 1
Age Limit: 40-50 Years
Qualification, Experience and other conditions:
- a. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Finance, Economic, Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting.
- b. Minimum 5-7 years experience in accounts management, preparing financial reports, internal/external audits, Management of grants/project funds.
- c. Preference will be given to the candidate with experience of working in government departments, public sector organizations, governmental/non-governmental organizations funded projects in budgeting, accounts, audit, procurement and financial reporting.

5. Assistant Director Information Technology

No. of Vacancy: 1
Age Limit: 40-50 Years
Qualification, Experience and other conditions:
- a. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cyber Security.
- b. Minimum 5-7 years experience in Managing office IT infrastructure and computer networks, systems administration, data backup/recovery, cyber security protocols.
- c. Preference will be given to the candidate with experience of working with government department in IT infrastructure, network administration, cyber security and systems administration.

6. Assistant Director Administration

No. of Vacancy: 1
Age Limit: 40-50 Years
Qualification, Experience and other conditions:
- a. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Public Administration, English, Public procurement management, Human Resource Management, Political Science.
- b. Minimum 5-7 years experience in office management and coordination, Human resource management.
- c. Preference will be given to the candidate with experience of working in government departments, governmental/non governmental organization in office administration, human resource and coordination.

7. Senior Officer Research & Planning

No. of Vacancy: 1
Age Limit: 35-45 Years
Qualification, Experience and other conditions:
- a. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Security Studies, Sociology, Political Science, Public Policy.
- b. Minimum 5-7 years experience in drafting research reports, policy analysis, program planning, thematic work plan.
- c. Preference will be given to candidates with experience of working with government departments, Law Enforcement Agencies, academia, think tanks in the field of countering violent extremism.

8. Curriculum Developer

No. of Vacancy: 1
Age Limit: 35-45 Years
Qualification, Experience and other conditions:
- a. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Education, Sociology, Sociology, Mass Communication, Public policy.
- b. Minimum 3-5 years experience in developing curriculum for training and awareness campaigns, working with educational institutions, government and non-government departments, funded projects.
- c. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience developing curriculum related to social cohesion, tolerance, interfaith harmony, youth engagement, women empowerment and prevention of violent extremism.

9. Master Trainer

No. of Vacancy: 1
Age Limit: 35-45 Years
Qualification, Experience and other conditions:
- a. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Economics.
- b. Minimum 5 years of experience in training delivery, preferably in peace building or public sector training.
- c. Preference will be given to additional recognized Training of Trainers certification.

10. E-Learning Specialist

No. of Vacancy: 1
Age Limit: 35-45 Years
Qualification, Experience and other conditions:
- a. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Digital Media.
- b. Minimum 3 years of experience in E-learning /digital content development.
- c. Preference will be given to candidates proficient in LMS administration, multimedia production, instructional design for digital platforms, basic data analytics.

11. Youth Program Officer

No. of Vacancy: 1
Age Limit: 35-45 Years
Qualification, Experience and other conditions:
- a. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies.
- b. Minimum 3 years in youth programming or community development.
- c. Preference will be given to candidates proficient in Youth engagement methodology, event and programme coordination.

12. Women Program Officer

No. of Vacancy: 1
Age Limit: 35-45 Years
Qualification, Experience and other conditions:
- a. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Gender Studies, Arts, Economics, Social Sciences.
- b. Minimum 3 years of experience in women empowerment or gender programming.
- c. Preference will be given to candidates having recognized certification in Gender-responsive programming, community outreach, safeguarding awareness.

13. Religious/ Minorities Program Officer

No. of Vacancy: 1
Age Limit: 35-45 Years
Qualification, Experience and other conditions:
- a. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Islamic Studies, Relations, Comparative Religion, Social Sciences.
- b. Minimum 3 years of experience in engaging religious/minority communities, interfaith/peace building work.
- c. Preference will be given to candidates having worked with recognized NGOS/INGOS in Sindh in the field of Inter Faith Harmony Programs/Projects.

14. IT Technical Support Staff

No. of Vacancy: 1
Age Limit: 35-45 Years
Qualification, Experience and other conditions:
- a. Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Information Technology.
- b. Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support works.
- c. Preference will be given to candidates having recognized certification in Hardware/software troubleshooting, basic networking, helpdesk support

Terms and Conditions

All hiring shall be made on contract basis for a period of two (2) years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance.
The hiring shall be on fixed monthly remuneration.
Candidate of Sindh Domicile shall apply for all positions.
Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview.
Government servants shall apply through proper channel, along with NO Objection Certificate (NOC) from Competent Authority.
