Position Deputy Manager-Taxation
Key Responsibilities include:
- Compile the annual sales data for the projected calculation of advance income tax for the tax exemption certificate issued by FBR
- Compile the data for filing monthly & quarterly income tax statements u/s 165 & 147 of HOM on FBR portal.
- Correspondence with external auditors for reconcile the tax matters on time of annual audit.
- Correspondence with tax consultant for taxation matters and other updates required for HOM.
- Ensure the rates of withholding taxes are properly deducted & recorded on the payments made from HOM.
- Liaison with other departments for the tax related matters
- Make compliance against various notices of FBR & other provincial tax authorities for HOM Income Tax matters.
- Prepare the working of tax calculation for filing annual corporate tax return of both HOM.
- Provide the data & other related documents/information as and when data required by Federal & Provincial Board.
- Reconcile the other ledgers for tax monitoring & tax assessment whenever is required by FBR for HOM
- Review all the payments of vendors made from HOM to avoid the non-compliance of income tax.
- To calculate the income tax working for any vendor payment whenever is required.
- To ensure that ledgers of advance income tax are proper reconciled and maintained with concern tax year.
- To ensure the amount of weekly withholding taxes of income tax are timely reported & deposited to the bank on every next week.
- To organize and maintain proper records of taxation documents/files either in (hard & soft) format.
RequiredEducation: Bachelor’s or Master in Finance / ACCA / CA Finalist or Qualified
Experience:4-6 years of experience in relevant field
