Dr. Ziauddin Group of Hospitals and Universities is hiring for “Matron/Nursing Manager” based at Head office, Karachi.
Job Summary:
Supervise the administrative issues of the assigned department & responsible for the day to day smooth operation of the department. Responsible to run nursing services department efficiently & effectively. Main function is to ensure that proper nursing care is given to the patients by the nursing staff in a professional manner & up to the standard quality.
Responsibilities:
· Visit all wards daily to keep a record and share report of the same to the assigned authorities
· Coordinate with healthcare professionals & other departmental supervisors in resolving patient care issues
· Maintain & update nursing policies & procedures. Also maintain all documents
· Coordinate with other relevant departments to improve systems, KPIs & relevant activities
· Assist Chief of Nursing in preparing department budget
· Coordinate with clinical coordinator to design students’ roster
· Coordinate with NES department for nursing staff’s recertification workshop
· To check periodical training sessions for the nursing staff being done by NES department
Other Requirements:
Experience: 10 years
Educations: Minimum Bachelors in Nursing, preferably Masters. Diploma in nursing/BSCN + updated registration with Pakistan Nursing Council. Relevant certification/courses
