We are looking to add a member to our Accounts & Finance team, who is an expert in developing and monitoring financial budgets, managing accounting operations, performing financial analysis of the key business drivers. This is exactly the best opportunity for someone who has the ability to play a pivotal role in elevating the business to create a benchmark amongst best industry practices.
The major areas of focus and expertise for an ideal candidate are:
- Provide proactive consultation and interpretation of complex financial and operational matters to various department leaders to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business decisions
- Manage Accounting and Finance operations at the plant, and implement best practices in the financial and management reporting by checking product and process costing, analysing production variances, carrying out periodic physical stock count of stocks and stores, periodic review of fixed and variables overheads applied and advise management on major variances and checking and validation of utilities’ cost by each proces
- Analyse the working capital requirements and check the variations. Ensure the availability of funds to meet the operational needs, including the timely distribution of the salaries and wages
- Develop the budgets in consultation with all the department heads and approval of the senior management
- Conduct the periodic reviews of the budgets to monitor the company performance, consequently, the deviations to be investigated and recommendations to be floated
- Monitor and recommend improvements in the internal controls and compliance of corporate policies at the plant
- Engage in the fixed asset control and monitoring process, ensure the tagging of the assets, and their periodic physical count
- Good strategic, leadership, analytical, interpersonal and pressure handling skills and has an ability to drive processes through innovation and ownership
- CA finalists (articles completed) with no industry experience would be a great fit for the role
SAP experience would be an added advantage
Qualification Requirements: ACA/CA Finalist
The position will be based at the 26 km-Faisalabad Road, Feroze Wattwan, Sheikhupura.
