Officer/Technician Secondary – Electrical
The ideal candidate should have the following qualification, experience and skill sets:
- DAE Electrical with 5–10 years of experience in high- and low-voltage power distribution maintenance.
- Experience working in large-capacity power plants (300 MW and above) is preferred
- Familiarity with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance methods.
- Proficient in the hardware structure, functional logic, and verification process of major power plant protection systems, including generator protection, busbar protection, line protection, plant power fast-switching devices, and comprehensive motor protection.
- Proficient in the hardware structure, functional logic, and verification process of automatic devices such as factory power quick cut, synchronization, and BZT.
- Proficient in the hardware structure, functional logic, and verification process of automatic devices such as factory power quick cut, synchronization, and BZT. (Note: This point is repeated in the image)
- Familiar with network communication protocols and network configuration.
- Capable of monitoring the operational status of electrical secondary equipment and analyzing and judging anomalies. Capable of emergency response to abnormal equipment in critical situations.
The main responsibilities of the position will involve:
- Monitor and inspect the operational status of plant-wide protection, automatic devices, electrical measurement, and network communication-related equipment during operation to ensure smooth operation.
- Identify abnormal operating conditions and take corrective measures in a timely manner to prevent equipment failure.
- Assist in completing unit start-up and shutdown operations and daily operational tasks.
- Perform planned preventive maintenance and condition monitoring tasks.
- Perform maintenance, replacement, and major repairs on electrical secondary equipment.
- Assist in major shutdown maintenance, including project initiation and æ”¹é€ (renovation) work for protection-related equipment.
- Diagnose equipment faults and propose corrective action recommendations.
