We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager Projects – Design to lead the design and execution of our retail development projects from concept to final delivery.
Open Position: 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 – 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻
Requirements:
- Lead retail design projects from initial concept, space planning, and design development through execution and final handover.
- Develop and review layouts, architectural drawings, detailed designs, specifications and shop drawings.
- Coordinate MEP requirements with consultants, architects, contractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with the overall design.
- Ensure designs are practical, functional and aligned with retail operational requirements and brand standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, quality standards and key deliverables to ensure projects are completed as planned.
- Conduct regular site visits to review execution, identify design or technical issues and ensure compliance with approved drawings.
- Review material selections, finishes, fixtures and technical details to maintain design quality and consistency.
- Resolve design and site coordination issues in collaboration with consultants, contractors and internal teams.
- Manage multiple retail development, renovation and store improvement projects simultaneously.
- Ensure smooth project closure, snag resolution and final handover to the concerned operations team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a relevant field.
- Strong professional experience in retail design, store development, interior fit-out, or architectural projects.
- Hands-on exposure to managing retail projects from concept design to execution and handover.
- Sound understanding of architectural, interior and MEP coordination.
- Strong ability to read, review and coordinate technical drawings and construction documentation.
- Proficiency in relevant design/project tools such as AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit or similar tools will be an advantage.
- Strong project management, stakeholder coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage contractors, consultants and vendors while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.
