JOB OPPORTUNITIES: The Banking Mohtasib Pakistan Secretariat, a statutory body established to redress grievances of banking consumers and customers against maladministration in matters relating to banking laws, regulations, policies, and practices, seeks applications for various posts at its Karachi Secretariat & Regional Offices.

1. Advisor (Equivalent to BPS-20)

• Qualifications/Experience:
  • Master’s Degree with at least B Grade or 2nd Division or equivalent from an HEC recognized University/Institution, preferably in Banking & Finance, Commerce, Public Administration, or Economics.
  • Or Equivalent to CA/ICMAP.
  • Senior Banker with at least 15 years of experience, preferably with field banking experience.
  • The candidate should have adequate computer skills and good writing and communication skills.
• Max Age: 50 years.

2. Consultant (Regional Office Lahore) (Equivalent to BPS-18)

• Qualifications/Experience:
  • MA Economics/MBA/M.Com from an HEC recognized University.
  • Preferably 20-25 years of experience working in a Bank or any regulatory authority.
• Max Age: 50 years.

3. Deputy Director – Legal (Equivalent to BPS-18)

• Qualifications/Experience:
  • Minimum Law Graduate from an HEC recognized University with sound knowledge of Court Procedure/working.
  • Minimum 7 years of practical experience with a legal firm/corporate organization dealing with banking laws/Advocate.
• Max Age: 50 years.

4. Deputy Director – Investigation (Equivalent to BPS-18)

• Qualifications/Experience:
  • Master’s Degree from an HEC recognized University, preferably in Banking, Finance, or IT, with adequate computer literacy.
  • The candidate should have good writing and communication skills.
  • At least ten years of working experience in the banking industry, preferably in field banking.
• Max Age: 50 years.

5. Deputy Director – IT (Equivalent to BPS-18)

• Qualifications/Experience:
  • Four years bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a system and network administrator in a Windows environment.
  • Certification in MCSE or MCITP and CCNA.
  • Required Skills:
    • Coordination with vendors, ISPs, and other related organizations.
    • Switches/Firewall.
    • Virtual Environment (Hyper-V).
    • Working knowledge of Linux Servers and Oracle database.
• Max Age: 50 years.

6. Assistant Director (Equivalent to BPS-17) (Karachi Sec/Regional Office Faisalabad & Muzaffarabad)

• Qualifications/Experience:
  • 16 years of education in Commerce, Law, Banking & Finance, or Statistics from any HEC recognized University.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in banking, operations, investigation, or compliance, with adequate computer literacy.
• Max Age: 40 years.
