Job Description
Ahmed Foods is seeking a qualified and experienced Chemist for their food industry team. Responsibilities include quality control, product testing, formulation support, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Key Requirements
- Conduct chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Develop and improve product formulations and processes.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and calibration records.
- Prepare and maintain documentation as per regulatory requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting production and quality issues.
- Coordinate with production and quality assurance teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry.
- 3–5 years of experience in a food manufacturing or food processing industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, FSSAI, ISO, etc.).
- Experience in laboratory testing and quality control procedures.
- Good analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of food additives and preservation techniques.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and audits.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
