Applications are invited by the Bureau of Aircraft Safety Investigation Pakistan from the eligible candidates, who possess Local/Domicile certificate of Baluchistan, to fill up the vacancies on regular basis under the Establishment Division under one time dispensation policy for FY-2026-2027 in the following categories.
Available Positions:
1. Technical Assistant to Aircraft accident Investigators

Qualification:
2nd Class or Grade ‘C’ Pre-Engineering (12 years education) qualification / DAE in Aerospace/Avionics or equivalent qualification with:-
1. Technical Qualification – B1 / B2 Technician / ATC course qualified
AND
2. Technical Experience – Minimum 03 years’ post qualification experience in the field of Civil / Military Aviation maintenance / engineering field OR Minimum 01 years’ experience in the relevant fields of experience in Aircraft Accident Investigation
AND
3. Good command on MS Office.

Qualification:
2nd Division Intermediate from a recognized Board
Typing speed
- 30+ word per minute typing speed in Urdu and English
- Computer literacy
- Required: IT training
Three-week Basic IT Training Course, including MS Office, conducted by NITB during probation

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. 18-25+05-year specific additional relaxation for candidate from Baluchistan notified by Establishment Division on 22-10-2026 (Total 35 years age in lieu of relaxation only, will be calculated as of the closing date of the advertisement) i.e. 13th November 2026.
2. Age, qualifications and experience are counted as on the closing date. Age relaxation is as per Government rules.
3. Qualifications must be HEC-recognized or have an equivalence certificate. Technical licenses and certificates (B1/B2, ATC) must be valid and certified from PCAA.
4. Experience counts only after the required qualification and must be backed by certificates on official letterhead.
5. Minority and disabled-person quotas apply per policy. Disabled applicants must attach a valid certificate.
6. Late or incomplete applications will be rejected.
7. Attach attested copies of all documents and bring the originals to the test or interview. Use a separate application for each post.
8. Serving employees must apply through proper channel or submit an NOC.
9. Only shortlisted candidates will be called. No TA/DA is paid. Skill tests apply to some posts: typing for UDC, Aviation knowledge test for technical post.
10. All candidates included in the final shortlist for technical posts must have valid medical fitness equivalent to Class 1 Medical certification as prescribed in PCAA ANO-001-XXAM-4.0 & ICAO Annex 1 – Chapter 6
11. False information or forged documents mean disqualification or termination.
12. Canvassing leads to disqualification.
13. Availability on 24/7 basis due to commercial flying operations continuing round the clock and nature of emergency may require availability of investigation team at any time and place.
14. Investigation process may demand long and extended working hours, work during weekends / holidays in extreme weather conditions and difficult terrain, and prolonged extended travels.
15. Routine working condition of an office environment located [HQ BASIP & North Regional Office (Rawalpindi), Center Regional Office (Lahore) & South Regional Office (Karachi) but appointments are on probation and staff may be posted / deployed anywhere in Pakistan]
16. The IT training course applies where required
17. BASIP has a right to change, reduce or cancel posts or the process at any stage.
18. The competent authority’s decision will be final.
