We’re Hiring | Import Manager
Lahore | Socks Division
Experience: 5–8 years in imports, preferably textiles.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in import management, preferably in the textile or manufacturing industry.
- Complete management of import operations, from purchase order placement to shipment clearance and delivery.
- Strong knowledge of import documentation, customs regulations, HS codes, and applicable import policies.
- Hands-on experience with Letters of Credit (LCs), contracts, TT payments, banking documentation, and import payment procedures.
- Expertise in coordinating with international suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and banks.
- Knowledge of shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and insurance documents.
- Experience in managing customs clearance, GD filing coordination, duties, taxes, and other import-related charges.
- Ability to monitor shipment schedules, track consignments, and ensure timely delivery of imported materials.
- Experience in import costing, freight negotiation, landed cost calculations, and cost optimization.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and import-related reporting.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
