Applications are invited from the candidates holding a Punjab domicile and possessing the prescribed qualifications for appointment against the following positions on a regular/contract basis in the University of Chakwal:

Statutory Positions (Contract)

01. Controller of Examinations (BS-20)

No. of Post: 01
Age: 40–50
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- (i) PhD in any discipline from an institute or a university recognized by the HEC; and
- (ii) Eight years post qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a public or a private institute or a university recognized by the HEC or public sector organization.
- OR
- (i) MS or M.Phil. (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the HEC; and
- (ii) Ten years post qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a public or a private institute or university recognized by the HEC or public sector organization.
- OR
- (i) Master’s degree or BS (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the HEC; and

(ii) Twelve years post qualifications teaching or administrative or professional experience in a public or a private institute or a university recognized by the HEC or public sector organization.

02. Registrar (BS-20)

Age: 40–50
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- (i) PhD in any discipline from an institute or a university recognized by the HEC; and
- (ii) Eight years post qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a public or a private institute or a university recognized by the HEC or public sector organization.
- OR
- (i) MS or M.Phil. (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the HEC; and
- (ii) Ten years post qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a public or a private institute or university recognized by the HEC or public sector organization.
- OR
- (i) Master’s degree or BS (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the HEC; and

(ii) Twelve years post qualifications teaching or administrative or professional experience in a public or a private institute or university recognized by the HEC or public sector organization.

Administrative Positions (Regular/Contract)

03. Project Director (BS-19)

No. of Post: 01
Age: 35–50
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- (i) B.Sc. (second division) in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by Higher Education Commission;

(ii) Registered with Pakistan Engineering Council; and

(iii) Twelve years post qualification relevant experience out of which four years shall be related to management of works.

04. Deputy Director (Sports) (BS-18)

No. of Post: 01
Age: 25–45
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- (i) Master’s degree or BS (second division) in Physical Education or Sports Sciences or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- (ii) Five years post qualification experience in organizing sports at national or international level.

05. Deputy Director (Press, Media & Publication) (BS-18)

Age: 25–45
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- (i) MS or M.Phil. (second division) in Mass Communication or Media Studies or Communication Studies or Journalism or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

(ii) Three years post qualification relevant experience
- OR
- (i) Master’s degree or BS (second division) in Mass Communication or Media Studies or Communication Studies or Journalism or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

(ii) Five years post qualification relevant experience.

06. Deputy Controller of Examinations (BS-18)

Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- (i) MS or M.Phil. (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- (ii) Three years post qualification teaching or administrative experience in public or private institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission or public sector organization.

- (i) Master’s degree or BS (second division) or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- (ii) Five years post qualification teaching or administrative experience in public or private institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission or public sector organization.

07. Deputy Registrar (BS-18)

Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- (i) MS or M.Phil. (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

08. Deputy Treasurer (BS-18)

(i) MS or M.Phil. (second division) in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

(ii) Three years post qualification relevant experience

- (i) MBA in Finance or M.Com. or ACCA or ACMA or M.Sc. (second division) in Economics or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

(ii) Five years post qualification relevant experience.

09. Senior Press Manager (BS-18)

Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- (i) Master’s degree or BS (second division) in Mass Communication or Media Studies or Communication Studies or Journalism or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

17. Assistant Librarian (BS-17)

Minimum Qualification & Experience: Master’s degree or BS (second division) in Library and Information Science or Information Sciences or Information Management or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

18. Estate Officer (BS-17)

Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- (i) Master’s degree or BS (second division) or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- (ii) Two years post qualification relevant experience.

19. Medical Officer (BS-17)

Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- (i) MBBS (first division) from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission;
- (ii) Registered with Pakistan Medical Commission; and
- (iii) One year house job experience.

20. Security Officer (BS-17)

Age: 21–35
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- (i) Retired commissioned officer from the Forces;
- (ii) Not retired on medical or disciplinary grounds; and
- (iii) Two years after retirement are not passed.

21. Personal Secretary (BS-17)

Age: 21–35
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- (i) Master’s degree or BS (second division) or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission;

(ii) Hundred words per minute shorthand speed; and

(iii) Fifty words per minute typing speed in English on Computer.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Candidates must apply online through the UoC website at [https://uoc.edu.pk/jobs.php](https://uoc.edu.pk/jobs.php). After submitting the online application, candidates are required to submit two (02) sets of the dossier in hard form, along with the duly signed online Application Form and original paid system generated fee challan at the address given below.
Candidates also required to submit detailed resume (preferably double-sided page print) alongwith attested copies of CNIC, domicile, degrees, result cards, transcripts, experience certificates.
Candidates holding foreign qualifications must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the HEC or IBCC etc., as the case may be, alongwith the Application Form.
Applications must be accompanied by a processing fee paid in any branch of Bank of Punjab (Non-refundable). The payable amount is Rs.5,000/- for the posts of Controller of Examinations and Registrar whereas Rs.3,000/- for all other Administrative Posts. While the employees of UoC are exempted from processing fee.
Candidates who want to apply for more than one post are required to submit separate and complete Application Form alongwith separate Fee Challan of the required amount.
Candidates already employed in any Government/Semi Government Department or Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel by due date.
All Government employees who intend to apply for the posts through proper channel shall clarify through the Heads of the attached departments that there are no pending inquiry/outstanding dues against them. These conditions are necessary for the grant of departmental permission certificate/No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Experience in Government services shall only be accepted if the certificate is issued by the concerned appointing authority/person authorized to do so; however, experience of private entities shall be accepted only if such entity is registered with relevant Regulatory Body/Authority. Appointment letters shall not be accepted as proof of experience.
Experience as part-time, honorary, apprentice, internees, visiting faculty and daily wages appointment(s) will not be considered/counted.
Relaxation in upper age limit will be granted as per policy of Government of Punjab.
The quota for persons with special abilities, minorities and women will be observed as per policy of Government of Punjab.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
The University reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the advertisement, increase or decrease the number of advertised posts, fill or not fill any position, without assigning any reason.
The University may conduct any screening test for the shortlisting of the candidates, if required.
Interested candidates are required to submit the online application form till 07.10.2026 (Wednesday) and post a duly signed hard copy of the online application form up to 08.10.2026 (Thursday) (through registered courier/post only) to the Office of the Registrar, University of Chakwal, City Campus, Talagang Road, Chakwal during the office hours, that is, 04:00 PM.
Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
The recruitment shall be made in accordance with the University of Chakwal Act 2019, University of Chakwal (Appointment, Terms and Conditions of Service) Statutes, 2021 and University of Chakwal Recruitment Policy 2021.
Pension and retirement benefits will be admissible in accordance with the policy of the Government of Punjab, amended from time to time.
