Position: Lead Information Technology
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Job Summary The Lead IT will provide strategic and operational leadership for the organization’s IT function, overseeing technology decisions, budgets, and investments aligned with business objectives. Reporting to the CEO, the role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills who can drive technology initiatives impacting both current and future operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Aligning technology initiatives with business strategies to drive growth, innovation, and competitive advantage.
- The development and deployment of technological services, including the design, development, implementation, and coordination of systems, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and implement PMIC’s overall IT and digital strategy aligned with business objectives and development mandate.
- Establish IT governance frameworks, policies, and standards in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Present technology strategy, major initiatives, and risk matters to senior management and the Board (as required).
- Responsible for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of PMIC’s core IT systems, including ERP and Loan Management System (LMS)
- Drive automation and digitization of key business processes to improve efficiency and control.
- Oversee vulnerability management, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Oversee implementation partners for major technology projects and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Support the CEO in making decisions on behalf of the company’s technological requirements.
- Developing comprehensive processes and policies for data security, network access, backup systems, and mitigating technological risks, including cybersecurity threats, to protect the organization’s assets and reputation.
Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software or Computer Engineering; Master’s (MS/MBA-IT/MIS) preferred.
Experience 7-10 years of progressive experience in information technology, enterprise systems (ERP), digital platforms, and related technology domains, preferably within regulated or financial services environments.
Functional Competencies
- Experience in financial services or other regulated environments preferred
- Proven delivery of enterprise IT projects (ERP, LMS, core systems), project planning and implementation skills. Strong knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, and compliance
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, servers, ERP environments, managing and updating software’s, databases and operating systems
