Position: Executive – Quality Lab
Job Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of ISO and ASTM standards related to fabric and garment testing.
- Hands-on experience in fabric, garment, and physical testing, including CF, tear, tensile, and 3HL testing.
- Ability to prepare, verify, and maintain accurate test reports and laboratory records in line with quality requirements.
- Ensure proper sample handling, result analysis, and coordination with QA/production teams for timely corrective actions.
- Conduct routine and non-routine tests to evaluate fabric and garment performance and compliance with specifications.
- Identify deviations and differences during testing and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, ensuring adherence to lab protocols and safety standards.
- Support product development and production teams by providing timely testing feedback and technical guidance.
- Stay updated with new testing methods, technologies, and industry standards to enhance lab capabilities.
Job Specifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or Quality Management (QMS).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year, preferably in the textile industry.
- Skills: * Strong knowledge of ISO / ASTM standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic reporting and documentation skills.
