Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end-user support by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for on-site and remote employees.
- Install, configure, update, and maintain computer systems, applications, and operating systems.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring smooth connectivity.
- Perform system updates, patches, antivirus management, and support IT security protocols and compliance.
- Monitor and test data backup and recovery systems to ensure reliable data protection.
- Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with the IT team on process improvements and IT-related projects.
Key Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCP, or similar are an added advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Clear communication and a customer-focused support approach.
- Experience with remote support tools and techniques. Understanding of IT security practices and data protection.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
