Position : ASSISTANT MANAGER QUALITY ASSURANCE

Danpak Food Industries (PVT) Ltd, is looking for self-driven candidate to excel their expertise as Assistant Manager Quality Assurance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Must be able to guide all down the line QA officers, incharges and other subordinates.
Must have knowledge of ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 and Halaal Management systems.
Assure the reliability and consistency of production processes as per the quality and food safety standards.
Review product packaging, marketing materials, presentations and websites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Review and submission of reports to regulatory bodies (SFA, SEPA etc.) and to enhance compliance with other applicable regulations and standards.
Ensure compliance of international customers including the export documentation, pre- shipment inspections and other requirements.
Liaise with other departments on compliance matters.
Able to overtake instantaneous responsibilities/projects related to compliance and other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Handle a non-compliance investigation to follow up and report back to management on current risk and compliance performance.
Keep up to date with, and understand, relevant laws and regulations along with the monitoring of compliances with laws, regulations and internal policies.
Evaluate all current and new compliance regulations and support the development and implementation of the organization’s compliance policies, guidelines and training program.
To ensure the analytical/microbiology laboratories and Incoming inspection are in operation mode to support production and the release of the product.

REQUIREMENTS:

A master’s degree in the relevant field at least 3 years of experience in the confectionery industry.
(Preferable BS/MSc. Food Science & Technology).
Excellent knowledge of food industry processes and regulations.
Detail oriented with ability to work independently.
Perform Multi-tasks on many projects at once, strong multi-tasking skills and good at managing time.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Responsive team player with the interest to take initiative and work in a fast paced environment.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office/Microsoft excel.
Can work under pressure
