Assistant medical Information Officer (AMIO)
LOCATION: DR. ZIAUDDIN HOSPITAL, HEAD OFFICE NORTH NAZIMABAD CAMPUS.
JOB SUMMARY: He/ She will assist in managing, maintaining and security patient medical records and data. This role involves ensuring the accuracy, completeness and confidentiality of medical records, and supporting the medical information officer in implementing health information management policies and procedures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in organization, updating and maintain patient medical records also ensure the accuracy, completeness and timely entry of medical data.
- Coordinate with medical staff to collect and verify patient information.
- Assist in monitoring access to medical records and ensuring authorized use.
- Provide timely and efficient retrieval of medical records and ensuring authorized use.
- Maintain proper documentation of medical records activities.
- Provide folders for scanning & document imaging assistant.
- Assist in the proper disposal of physical records following digitization, adhering to hospital policies and legal requirements.
- Will organized and manage the storage of physical records before and after scanning.
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES:
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing medical records.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, data privacy and health information management standard.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skill.
- Technical proficiency in operating scanning and imaging equipment (for document imaging/ scanning position posting)
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using medical records software, electronic system and scanning equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Academic Qualification: Intermediate/ Graduate.
- Professional Qualification: Certification in Heath Information Management or a related certification is preferred.
- Work Experience: Fresh or Upto 1 year experience required.
