LOCATION: KARACHI
POSITION: PERMANENT AND SHIFT-BASED
IP NOC ENGINEER REQUIRED
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 24×7 network vigilance along with second level customer & network support for IP/Data, Voice, Cloud & Network Security.
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolution of network and customer related issues within the prescribed TAT.
- Performing regular checks, back-ups on network infrastructure and ensuring up-time of monitoring tools.
- New service configurations and modification as per prescribed procedure.
- Coordination and collaboration with internal as well as external partners for network related issues.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATION:
- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN concepts and IP routing protocols (like, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, STP, VRF).
- In-depth experience of handling network infrastructure of L2/L3 services (Switches, Router, VPN and Wireless etc.). Experience with Cisco, Huawei and Mikrotik is preferred.
- Strong experience in Cisco Routing and Switching including knowledge of Multicast, QoS, IOS Security and IPv6.
- Able to work independently and as a team player, high competency in multi-tasking and ability to manage multiple engagements in parallel.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelors in (Electrical/Electronic/Telecom Engineering or equivalent).
- Certifications (preferred): CCNA/CCNP/HCNA or equivalent.
- 1-2 years relevant work experience. This is going to be a shift-based role.
