JOB OPPORTUNITIES: WAPDA invites applications from suitable/eligible candidates for the following posts on a regular basis in the Transport Directorate:

Auto Mechanic (Petrol)

1. BPS: 09
2. Number of Posts: 01
3. Qualification/Experience:
   • Ex-NCO (Matric) qualified Mechanic (Petrol) from EME.
   • OR Matric with 05 years experience as Auto Mechanic (Petrol) in Government / Semi Government / Autonomous Bodies or a reputable firm.
4. Age Limit: 45 years
5. Quota: Open Merit = 01

Auto Mechanic (Diesel)

1. BPS: 09
2. Number of Posts: 01
3. Qualification/Experience:
   • Ex-NCO (Matric) qualified Mechanic (Diesel) from EME.
   • OR Matric with 05 years experience as Auto Mechanic (Diesel) in Government / Semi Government / Autonomous Bodies or a reputable firm.
4. Age Limit: 45 years
5. Quota: Open Merit = 01

Driver (LTV)

1. BPS: 06
2. Number of Posts: 17
3. Qualification/Experience:
   • Holder of Light Duty Vehicle (LTV) License with 05 years experience after obtaining the license, with at least a Middle qualification.
   • OR Ex-Army personnel with a valid LTV License and 05 years experience.
4. Age Limit: 25-35 years
5. Quota:
   • Open Merit = 03
   • Sindh (R) Open = 02
   • Sindh (U) Open = 02
   • KPK (Open) = 01
   • Balochistan (Open) = 02
   • FATAGB (Open) = 01

Driver (HTV)

1. BPS: 07
2. Number of Posts: 07
3. Qualification/Experience:
   • Holder of Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) / PSV License with 05 years experience after obtaining the license, with at least a Middle qualification.
   • OR Ex-Army personnel with a valid HTV / PSV License and 05 years experience.
4. Age Limit: 25-35 years
5. Quota:
   • Open Merit = 02
   • Sindh (R) Open = 01
   • Sindh (U) Open = 01
   • Balochistan (Open) = 01
   • FATAGB (Open) = 01

General Conditions & Instructions:

• Written tests will be conducted by OTS, and interviews will be conducted by WAPDA.
• General age relaxation of 05 years has already been included in the age limit.
• Further 03 years age relaxation is available to candidates from Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Recognized Tribes, Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, Sindh (Rural), and Balochistan.
• Upper age limit is relaxable by up to 10 years for Government/WAPDA employees with 02 years of continuous regular service.
• Age will be calculated based on the last date of receipt of applications.
• Candidates already serving in WAPDA should apply through WAPDA HR Division and must submit the required NOC/permission.
• Children of WAPDA employees are not eligible to apply.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
• No TA/DA will be admissible.
• Incomplete/incorrect applications will be rejected.
• Any information found false will result in disqualification.
• WAPDA reserves the right to withdraw/cancel the recruitment process at any stage.

How to Apply:

• Candidates must apply through the OTS website (www.ots.org.pk) within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.
• A fee of Rs. 200/- must be paid at any branch of Bank Alfalah, HBL, or ABL via a prescribed challan form available at www.ots.org.pk.
• Candidates must attach copies of academic documents, domicile certificate, CNIC, experience certificates, and two passport-size photos.
