Title of the role: Operations Skill Development Manager

Location: Lahore
Purpose of the role
Design and implement a Learning Infrastructure (people, process and systems) which significantly improves functional/ technical capability of our teams and adds value to the business, at the right cost and quality.
Responsible for embedding Operational Excellence Program across Functions (Quality, SC, R&D)
Build technical mastery among technical teams and operators by providing the right training interventions and tools.
Key Deliverables:
· Lead Education and Training Workstream for the plants and develop skill matrix for all roles (including operators) to identify the gaps in the capability
· Report Operations Excellence roll out progress vs plan, understand the barriers, and leverage community to help removing the barrier.
· Monitoring the Operations Excellence modules performance, deep diving into loss tree and finding the common losses
· Arrange functional capability workshops (relating to new tools or systems)
· Support leadership team in developing and tracking master plans for plants. Facilitate HODs in setting the right direction aligned with Group Strategies
· Responsible for the capability building of the leadership team on Operational Excellence philosophy, pillars tools & systems and progression journey.
· Support Group CTO to maintain a professional and well-motivated team, and to ensure succession for all key positions – through the facilitation of appropriate training and development.
· Drive & monitor improvement in productivity, quality and efficiency by embedding Operational Excellence Pillars across plants , tack current performance against strategy and targets.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
· Must have Bachelor’s degree in engineering with good SAP expertise
· At least 5 years in WCM/ Production/ Maintenance/ Quality functions as an engineer or process expert in factory
· Prior knowledge and experience of Operational Excellence implementation at plant.
· Theoretical and practical knowledge of Teams and Pillars assessment; Ability to coach teams/pillars to achieve their targets, detecting failures and opportunities of improvements, and continuously contribute to develop individuals and teams for the present and future need of the organization
· Good coordination & communication skills
· Act as a champion and change agent for driving positive culture change and improving operational efficiencies while deploying new techniques
· Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt Certification and Lean Management Certification, PDCA mindset, knowledge of issue analysis tools
· Experience in Value Stream Mapping, Workplace standardization etc.
· Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment is highly preferred
