Job Summary:
IT Support Engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining the technological infrastructure of the organization by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and support to end-users, ensuring the efficient operation of computer systems, software, networks, biometric attendance devices & CCTV operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-User Support: Respond to and resolve technical issues for users through various channels.
- Hardware and Software Maintenance: Install, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Network Support: Assist with network setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Documentation: Maintain records and create user guides and IT documentation.
- Remote Support: Provide technical assistance to remote employees.
- Security and Compliance: Assist in enforcing security measures and compliance standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Customer-focused approach with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality support.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with remote support tools and techniques.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, Apple Certified Mac Technician) are advantageous.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing technology environments.
