Audit Senior – Process Audit
Qualification: Graduation
Experience: Minimum 02 Years
Location: Karachi
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist team lead to achieve approved audit plan through timely completion of audits.
· Assist the team lead in planning of assigned audits including fieldwork, audit finalization, and reporting.
· Prepare engagement memo to define the scope of assigned audits for team lead review.
· Develop a thorough understanding of business processes as defined in scope and document the processes in flowcharts and/or process narratives. Identify and document inherent risks and controls within the business processes.
· Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, by identifying GAPs/ weaknesses within the processes, non-compliance with policies/ procedures, and applicable laws.
· Draft audit findings along with evidential support including risks and practical recommendations in draft audit reports for team lead review.
· Perform pre-audit activities such as verifying pre-payments, payroll, payments related to purchase and material, job orders, project/construction, exports, and imports. Perform scrutiny of supporting documents and system verification. Maintained In /out MIS and prepare pre-audit MIS for reporting purposes.
· Perform physical counts of inventories and ensure result compilation, report finalization, and follow-ups. Prepare MIS for reporting purposes.
· Perform special assignments / other tasks if assigned by the team lead/ Head of Internal Audit.
