Job Description:
As a Website Developer at Wavetec, you will be at the forefront of our digital presence.
You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving our websites to ensure
an exceptional user experience and align with our business goals. Your expertise will be
instrumental in shaping our online identity.
Key Responsibilities:
? Website Development: Design, develop, and maintain our websites, ensuring
they are functional, visually appealing, and user-friendly.
? Front-End Development: Create responsive and cross-browser compatible web
pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
? Back-End Development: Develop server-side logic and database connectivity
using technologies such as PHP, Python, Ruby, or Node.js.
? Content Management: Manage and update website content, including text,
images, videos, and interactive elements.
? E-commerce Integration: Implement and maintain e-commerce solutions,
ensuring seamless transactions and secure payment processing.
? Optimization: Monitor and optimize website performance, speed, and security.
? Collaboration: Work closely with designers, marketers, and other teams to align
web development with our branding and marketing strategies.
? Responsive Design: Ensure that websites are mobile-friendly and accessible
across various devices.
? Testing and Debugging: Perform thorough testing and debugging to identify and
resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
? Proven experience in web development and design.
? Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end
languages (PHP, Python, Ruby, Node.js, etc.).
? Knowledge of Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and web
development frameworks.
? Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
? Familiarity with web development best practices, SEO, and security principles.
