Location: Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the textile industry.
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management from any reputable HEC recognized University/Institute.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the inventory control team, ensuring the smooth operation of inventory processes within the towel manufacturing unit.
- Analyze and monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimizing excess or outdated inventory.
- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical verifications to ensure accuracy in inventory records.
- Manage inventory data in SAP, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Track and analyze key inventory metrics, KPIs and identify trends and areas for improvement in inventory management.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and marketing departments to align stock levels with demand.
- Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and manage stock levels effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in all inventory operations.
Skills:
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
