Position Title : Assistant Manager EHS

Purpose:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS Management System
- Ensure compliance to company’s Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Provide EHS leadership, training and operational support to all levels of the organization
- Arrange Management Systems’ external and internal audits (ISO 9001, ISO 45001 etc.)
- Develop & implement health and safety surveillance programs across the group
- Conduct Hazard identification and risk assessment of projects and facilities
- Coordinate in environmental impact assessment studies
- Participate in formal EHS reviews of existing equipment modifications, new equipment purchases, and changes in production processes.
- Perform EHS audits and inspect facilities, machinery and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards
- Investigate industrial accidents, near-misses and occupational injuries to determine root causes and suggest the control measure to prevent reoccurrence.
- Maintain facility safety inventory including supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance to legal and other requirements related to EHS.
- Preparing and submitting environment, health and safety compliance reports/documents to the relevant organizations
Education:
- Bachelors in Engineering or Environment, Health and Safety management
- NEBOSH or similar EHS certification
- Preferably ISO 45001 OH&S Lead Auditor
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience at reputable organization working in EHS related role
