Position: Net Metering Officer
Location: Lahore
Job Description:
As a Net Metering Officer at Sympl Energy, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the implementation of net metering systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough inspections of installed systems to ensure compliance with AEDB guidelines.
- Preparing and verifying Net Metering (NM) files before submission to DISCOs, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Obtaining customer signatures and all necessary documents, maintaining a customer-centric approach.
- Hand-submitting NM files to DISCOs within agreed timelines as per SOPs.
- Updating activity data through the company’s portal for meticulous record-keeping.
- Maintaining close communication with customers and DISCOs at every stage, ensuring proactive follow-up.
- Establishing strong coordination with DISCO officials to expedite net metering case processing.
- Obtaining necessary approvals from different DISCO formations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Actively following up on pending cases in DISCOs and NEPRA, addressing any issues daily.
- Ensuring the timely execution of all stages in the Net Metering process, facilitating the quickest meter installation.
- Identifying and highlighting issues causing delays in Net Metering cases, proposing effective solutions.
- Coordinating with customers (through the sales team) to address queries related to Net Metering, providing necessary assistance.
- Informing Net Metering management of any changes in NEPRA or DISCOs’ file processing SOPs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical or Electronics engineering.
- 02 years of experience in Net Metering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of AEDB guidelines, DISCO procedures, and NEPRA regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational abilities.
