Sympl Energy is hiring for the position of Accounts Officer (Fresh – 1 year). The Accounts Officer will support the financial operations of the company by performing various accounting tasks under the supervision of senior accounting staff. This role involves assisting in the maintenance of financial records, processing transactions, and providing clerical support to the accounting department.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by recording daily transactions in accounting software and ensuring entries are posted correctly.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts promptly and accurately. Follow up on outstanding payments and reconcile discrepancies on time.
  • Assist in preparing and sending invoices to clients.
  • Assist in reconciling bank statements with general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Assist in processing employee expense reports, verifying supporting documents, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Provide support in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in gathering data and compiling information for internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records by accurately entering data and filing documents in a systematic manner.
  • Assist the accounting department with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Assist in preparing documentation for audits and regulatory filings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is advantageous but not Mandatory.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.

Location: DHA Phase 4 Lahore
Time: 9AM – 6PM (Monday – Friday). Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods or to meet deadlines.
Job Type: Onsite
