Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and managing the primary poultry processing operations, including slaughtering, evisceration, chilling, and cutting, while ensuring compliance with food safety, quality standards, and production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily poultry primary processing operations from live bird reception to product chilling and cutting.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO, and other relevant food safety regulations.
Monitor production KPIs (yield, throughput, wastage, downtime) and implement improvements.
Supervise and train staff to maintain high productivity and hygiene standards.
Coordinate with maintenance for equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
Control operational costs and manage raw material usage efficiently.
Enforce occupational health and safety policies across processing areas.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Poultry Science, or related field.
5+ years’ experience in poultry primary processing plant operations.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of poultry processing equipment and automation systems.
Familiarity with food safety audits and certification processes.
