Education: Intermediate
Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 Years of Hands on Experience in Food Retail specifically in Fruits and Vegetable Department
Skills & Responsibilities:
- Makes customers the first priority, actively seeks out customers, greets all customers, offers assistance, ensure each customer receives outstanding service from shopping standards.
- Receive/Sort and replenish F&V articles as per SOP.
- Responsible for Shrinkage control.
- Maintain awareness of all promotions & advertisements, execute daily operational goals & priorities assigned.
- Seeks to fully understand the customers’ needs, provides customer with the best solution, contacts other associates/Floor Managers as needed; until customer’s need met.
- Maintains a clean and uncluttered store environment, ensures that department/area and aisles are clear, product is easily accessible to customers; consistently removes trash and empty cartons.
- Signage Aisles/Merchandising gondolas are all clearly & attractively merchandised, adhere to signage standards & SOP’s.
- Assist Receiving to receive Fresh stock, through quality control, accept only ‘Best’ quality.
- Sort out products according to their condition. Re-saleable, for markdown and for disposal separately.
- Place re-sale stock in front of the fixtures. New stock below and behind the old stock. (FIFO) First in First Out.
- Review all SKU’s sales, stock in hand and place your orders for the following day.
- Ongoing review of quality management, Ongoing replenishment of stock.
