Position Title: Manager Remittances (Officer Grade I)

Location: PNSC Building, Karachi
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth operations to provide quality service to branches while complying with regulatory and local policies.
- Process FCY (Foreign Currency) Outward Remittances in accordance with SBP Prudential Regulations and the Bank’s internal procedures.
- Support branches and respond to their queries regarding FCY Outward Remittances.
- Address various issues that may arise during transaction processing.
- Scrutinize remittance requests received from branches.
- Prepare and review SWIFT messages for remittances.
- Prepare and verify messages for Foreign Demand Drafts (FDDs) issued by branches.
- Manage NOSTRO accounts.
- Prepare SWIFT messages related to outward remittance queries or stop-payment requests for FDDs.
- Collaborate with the Branch Operations Manager (BOM) and Branch Manager (BM) to resolve customer complaints and issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Monitor RFT (Remittance Facilitation Transaction) agreement registrations in coordination with designated branches.
- Ensure the Bank acknowledges and designates RFT agreements in accordance with SBP guidelines.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and SBP Prudential Regulations related to foreign remittances.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Process home remittance transactions after proper verification.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of home remittance transactions.
- Process inward FCY (Foreign Currency) transactions after proper verification.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of inward FCY transactions.
- Provide timely notification to the relevant branches and the Trade Department.
- Prepare debit authorisations, inquiries, and other miscellaneous correspondence with correspondent banks.
- Build strong relationships and provide quality, timely services to exchange companies.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and prompt services to both internal and external customers of the Bank.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, is required.
