Shanghai Electric is hiring a Senior Officer/Cost Control for their Commercial Team in Tharparkar.
Job Overview:
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling costs, ensuring financial efficiency, and supporting the organization’s financial objectives through effective cost management strategies.
Note: Preference will be given to candidates from Tharparkar or nearby areas.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager Commercial with daily work
- Organize and summarize basic data
- Manage the company’s material and service contracts
- Participate in local contract payment
- Deal with quality issues and other matters related to HSD and FO suppliers for PO and payment processing
- Implement the procurement plan based on the actual situation
- Complete other tasks assigned by superiors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Economic Management, Cost Management, Supply Chain Management, Mining, Electromechanical, or a related field (Cost Control related qualification will be given priority)
- At least 1 year of experience in related positions, working experience in Open Pit Mining, Oil Products Management Company is preferred
- Familiar with procurement processes, possessing a solid foundation in procurement and strong purchasing capabilities
- Responsible for the settlement of contracts
- Development and management of local suppliers/vendors
- Work diligently with a strong sense of responsibility
- Have command on any software skills
- Proficient in English and Chinese (preferred)
