Sana Safinaz is looking for the position of “Senior Manager – Category RTW”

Job Description:

Incumbent at this position will be responsible for:

1. Planning and implementation of an entire season through budgeting, sourcing suppliers and planning according to launches.
2. Monitoring of Greige Purchasing.
3. Responsible for cost analysis of various categories including negotiations as well.
4. Planning for Fabric sourcing season wise & drop wise.
5. Ensure the timely execution of sourcing plans for assigned categories.
6. Set Sourcing Monthly targets.
7. Working closely with PPC team to make sure that complete article is closed with components.
8. Maintain Season wise proto & PP deadlines twice in a week (category wise).
9. Provide expertise to cross-functional partners on fabric construction and content, fabric finishing & technical capabilities and the impacts to customer expectations for quality and performance.
10. Discuss with HODs for allocation of processing Mills, vendor development, negotiations, decision making etc.
11. Analyze fabric needs, based on Design’s seasonal direction, and make mill/fabric recommendations
12. Maintain fabric development calendar and adhere to seasonal calendar deadlines.
13. Coordinate meetings between mills, design & product development as needed to find new fabric qualities and finishing techniques.
14. Strong coordination with Designers for the new fabric development and R&D for RTW fabric sourcing.
15. Work with vendors on Flash Costing to ensure the brand is meeting pricing & minimum targets.

Job Specification:

Qualification: Graduate /Masters in Textile education from any reputed institution.
Experience: Min 10 years+ of experience in relevant field
