Job Title: Factory / Production Manager 💻
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement a master production schedule (MPS) in coordination with supply chain and sales departments, ensuring alignment with plant capacity, sales forecasts, and raw material availability.
· Conduct continuous capacity planning to meet long and short-term sales forecasts, managing production demand and supply gaps effectively.
· Optimize mixed loads by monitoring hourly, daily, and overall performance, taking corrective measures as needed to ensure smooth operations.
· Monitor KPIs such as master schedule attainment (MSA) and daily production schedule attainment (DPSA) to identify volume variances and address them promptly.
· Update production plans daily, overseeing day-to-day activities to resolve issues promptly and maintain productivity.
· Supervise production floor staff to ensure productivity targets are met and wastages are controlled, coordinating production activities with other departmental managers.
· Develop and implement maintenance schedules for SMD machines to minimize breakdowns and ensure optimal operation.
· Assist in various projects such as machinery movements, new installations, and product innovations.
· Propose and implement improvement ideas for production processes, aiming to enhance efficiency and quality.
· Meet monthly production targets and machine efficiency goals, while also investigating market complaints in collaboration with the quality department to address root causes.
· Support the factory manager in their absence and undertake any additional tasks or projects assigned by the line manager.
