Responsibilities:
- To plan, organize, monitor, and control all activities of Engineering (Utilities, Power House, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical & Maintenance Department.
- Performs quality control checks, ensuring the safety and effectiveness or reliability of the system or product.
- To perform engineering work quality control checks, and ensure the safety & effectiveness & reliability of the system of all engineer teams.
- Responsible for steam boilers, steam supply, oil heaters & oil supply to all processing machines.
- To plan to work on new projects prepare preventive maintenance of the machines & maintain the fire hydrant water loop.
- Responsible for gas & coal/biomass consumption & checking the consumable material balance in stock & efficient consumption of fuel according to calorific value.
- Planning, preparation of preventive, and maintenance of the machines.
- Responsible for the implementation of energy conservation techniques on the system & supervising in energy cost reduction.
Core Expertise: - Advance product quality planning (APQP) and product part approval process (PPAP).
- Strong knowledge of various types of compressors, including centrifugal, reciprocating, and screw compressors.
- Extensive expertise in boilers, such as water tube boilers and wood-fired steam boilers.
- In-depth experience with processing industry equipment, including washing machines, dyeing machines, rotary printing machines, and chillers.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks & benchmarking.
Requirements:
15 years of experience in engineering roles within the textile industry, with a focus on operations.
MS/BSc in Engineering or a related field from a reputable institution. Preference will be given to candidates based in Faisalabad and those with SAP knowledge.
