We are hiring for the position of Executive NOC/VOIP Engineer.

LOCATION: KARACHI JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME
EXECUTIVE NOC / VOIP ENGINEER
This position is responsible to perform 24 x 7 x 365 roster-based shift in Network Operation Center. The main job of this position is network surveillance, Fault escalations, and follow-ups with concerned stakeholders.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Efficient Network Surveillance and Fault Management of network nodes for faults and service degradation in accordance with department Fault Management framework.
- Network Performance monitoring on near real-time basis as per granularity period.
- Generate Trouble Tickets, update and follow up till resolution.
- Smooth Shift handover and takeover.
- Generation of Shift reports.
- Ensure Conformance to NOC Core procedures and processes.
- Core Network Special tasks and reports.
- Network Synthetic alarms and their Trouble Tickets Management.
- Network Planned activities tracking.
- Generation of Core network periodic and on-demand reports.
- Compliance to Quality Assurance processes.
- Review and update periodically NOC escalations business rules and update static information in Trouble Ticketing portal database for Trouble tickets enrichment.
EDUCATION:
- Minimum Bachelors – Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics, Computer science or related fields. (Recognized from PEC is + Point).
EXPERIENCE:
- Candidates with minimum 1-2 years relevant experience will be preferred.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Good Interpersonal and troubleshooting skills Team Player Ability to work smoothly under pressure during day/night shift timings Load bearing capability during critical outages Understanding of VoIP, GSM & TDM Technologies and architecture.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel / Word / Power Point.
