CAREER OPPORTUNITY: A Public Sector Organization requires the services from Pakistani nationals & invites applications for the post of Public Relations Officer purely on CONTRACT in Islamabad.

Qualification: Qualification should be at least Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / International Relations / Mass Communication / Journalism / Media and Communication Studies. A 2nd degree of Bachelors in Physics or Engineering or at least Intermediate Education in Science will be preferred. OR Degree in Engineering or Science (Physics) with additional degree/courses in Marketing and Business Communication.

Experience: Minimum 06 years proven experience must in Marketing / Business Communication / Public Relations / Media Spokesperson.

Job Description:

Planning Marketing strategies and campaigns.
Analysis of business trends especially for Space Industries.
Establish liaison / coordination with stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams for unified brand image.
Recommend avenue/opportunities for Community Engagement.
Management/execution of public events and seminars etc., adverts and promotional activities.
Supporting executives for press/media briefings, interviews and interactions.
Networking with media outlets and garnering support in promoting achievements and addressing criticism.
Drafting official statements, stances, public/corporate press releases.
Devising strategies to curb and counter hostile media campaigns.
Devising effective social media and mass media campaigns by engaging friendly social media activists.
Should be well conversant with electronic, social and print media trends.

Important Points:

Compliance to selection criteria does not guarantee for short listing. If large numbers of applicant fulfill selection criteria, only the most suitable candidates having higher grades in respective degree / relevant experience would be shortlisted.
Candidates already in Government service should apply through proper channel and submit NOC (No Objection Certificate) at the time of interview from their parent departments so that if selected then they would be relieved accordingly.
