Associate Officer PRIME Reports to: Assistant Vice President – PRIME
Job Summary The Associate Officer Projects, supports the implementation and monitoring of activities under the PMIC KfW Renewable Energy Initiative through Microfinance – PRIME. This role involves assisting the AVP Sector Development and in data collection and reporting, developing presentations on PRIME for internal and external stakeholders, developing disbursement notes for technical assistance grants and subsidy scheme reimbursements. The position also emphasizes maintaining strong relationships with PMIC borrowers under PRIME Program and internal teams, as well as conducting field visits to monitor project progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of PRIME activities, including field visits to assess implementation progress and ensure compliance with program objectives.
- Collect, compile, and analyze program data; prepare accurate reports and dashboards to support Internal decision-making and external reporting requirements.
- Prepare disbursement notes for technical assistance grants and subsidy reimbursements, ensuring adherence to PMIC guidelines and donor requirements.
- Facilitate coordination with PMIC borrowers, partners, and internal teams to enable smooth implementation and timely resolution of issues.
- Develop presentations, briefs, and knowledge products to communicate PRIME outcomes and progress to stakeholders, donors, and management.
- Conduct research on renewable energy and inclusive finance to identify trends and provide inputs for enhancing PRIME’s scalability, and impact.
- Ensure compliance with PMIC’s guidelines and stakeholder requirements in project activities.
- Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, budgets, and outcomes for reporting and audit purposes.
- Identify challenges in project implementation and recommend solutions to enhance effectiveness and strategies for scaling up.
Education & Experience Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of experience in development institutions, microfinance, NGO/NGOs, DFIs, or corporates entities.
