Pakistan Refinery Limited is seeking profiles for the position of DCS Controller in our Operations Department. The Ideal candidate should be a D.A.E. (Chemical) with minimum 8 years of relevant work experience (with at least 3 years as DCS Boardman).
JOB TITLE : DCS Controller
REPORTS TO : Shift Manager
Job Purpose:
DCS controller ensures safe and efficient operation of Crude, Hydro treater, Plat former & Isomerization units through DCS. The incumbent will assist Shift Manager for safe plant startup, normal & emergency Plant shutdown. The incumbent is responsible to record and review operating data in log sheets, keeping all process parameters within specified limits and taking corrective actions as needed for safe & efficient plant operations.
This job role involves timely responding to all panel alarms, participating in test runs with the Technical Department, also monitoring consumption of own use fuel and adopting energy conservation practices for optimized usage of fuels. Coordinating with maintenance department for safe and timely job execution and implementing PTW system for safe maintenance work at DCS & plant.
Education: D.A.E Chemical
Experience: Minimum 8 years’ experience (with at least 3 years as DCS Boardman) working in a Petrochemical, Refinery or Fertilizer Plant.
Technical Competencies: Emergency Handling, Monitoring Process Parameters, DCS Operation, PTWS
Non-Technical Competencies: Computer literate, Teamwork, Problem Solving
