Job Overview

Nagaria Textile Mills (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a passionate, creative, and technically strong professional to join our Product Development team as PD Lead. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with expertise in Fabrics, Jacquard, Dobby, and Print Design, capable of leading innovation from concept to bulk production for the local sales market.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end product development for the Local Sales market.
Develop fabric constructions, blends, GSM, textures, and finishes.
Create Jacquard, Dobby, and Cadding fabric designs ensuring technical feasibility.
Design creative print concepts (digital/rotary), color palettes, and patterns.
Prepare detailed PD sheets, technical specifications, and artwork files.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis (terry and home textile sector).
Ensure quality standards regarding colors, patterns, and hand feel.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, sampling, weaving, dyeing, and production).
Manage timelines for design finalization and bulk production readiness.
Maintain records including design libraries and client development files.
Conduct client meetings for design presentations and approvals.
Utilize design software (CAD systems, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Textile Engineering, or Fashion Design.
Experience: 6–8 years of relevant experience in textile product development.
