📍 36.5 MW Coal-Fired Power Plant | Lahore
Mughal Energy Limited is seeking a high-performing Plant Performance Engineer to strengthen our thermodynamic performance, operational analytics, and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
✔ Monitor KPIs: heat rate, efficiency, fuel usage, emissions, auxiliary load
✔ Analyze boiler, turbine & BOP performance and close efficiency gaps
✔ Develop dashboards, models & benchmarking tools
✔ Lead RCA for recurring performance issues
✔ Drive heat-rate optimization & cost-saving projects
✔ Support operational transitions (start-up, shutdown, load changes)
✔ Prepare technical reports & present to leadership
✔ Monitor emissions & support environmental compliance
Requirements:
🎓 Mechanical/Electrical/Thermal Engineering degree
⚙️ Experience in thermal/coal power plant performance
📊 Strong thermodynamic & analytical skills
💡 Hands-on with DCS/SCADA & performance tools
