Mughal Energy Limited is strengthening its technical leadership team and invites applications from highly experienced and performance-driven professionals for the position of Manager Maintenance – Turbine & Rotary/Static Equipment.
This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring maximum availability, reliability, and efficiency of power generation assets through robust maintenance strategies and best-in-class engineering practices.
🔧 Position Overview
The Manager Maintenance will lead, plan, and control all maintenance activities related to steam turbines, rotary, and static equipment, ensuring safe, reliable, and uninterrupted plant operations. The role demands strong technical depth, people leadership, and strategic maintenance planning aligned with operational excellence and compliance standards.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for steam turbines, compressors, pumps, gearboxes, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, piping, and other rotary/static equipment.
Plan and execute major overhauls, planned shutdowns, inspections, alignments, and troubleshooting, coordinating closely with operations, and contractors.
Drive root cause failure analysis (RCFA/RCA) and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure achievement of equipment availability, reliability, and efficiency KPIs.
Oversee condition monitoring programs, including vibration analysis, lubrication systems, bearing health, and mechanical integrity assessments.
Develop, review, and enforce maintenance strategies, SOPs, technical standards, and documentation.
Manage spare parts planning, critical inventory optimization, budgeting, and vendor relationships.
Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, statutory regulations, and OEM recommendations.
Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance teams, fostering a culture of discipline, safety, accountability, and technical excellence.
Collaborate with senior management on long-term maintenance planning and reliability enhancement initiatives.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
8–12 years of progressive experience in maintenance of steam turbines, rotary and static equipment, preferably in power generation, energy, or heavy process industries.
Strong expertise in turbine systems, auxiliaries, lubrication systems, seals, bearings, vibration diagnostics, and mechanical integrity.
