We are looking for Assistant Manager – Finance Location: Johar Town, Lahore
Qualifications
- 3 plus years of relevant experience preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing concern.
- Qualified CMA, or CA-Inter.
Knowledge and skills
- Strong command of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ERP system.
- Sound understanding of taxation, audit coordination, and financial compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities and Duties To assist in achieving departmental objectives through;
- Supervise and manage the day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, and Fixed Assets.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management analysis for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and statutory requirements.
- Oversee cash flow management, vendor payments, and receivable monitoring to maintain healthy liquidity.
- Lead and guide the accounting team to maintain accurate books of accounts and documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors during audit cycles and ensure timely completion.
- Review journal entries, vouchers, and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
- Implement and strengthen internal controls, ensuring process efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Monitor and optimize use of ERP, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.

Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in finance or accounts
- Minimum HEC recognized Bachelor’s degree preferably pursuing ACCA, ICMA, or CA-Inter
Knowledge and skills
- Strong knowledge of taxation, audit, and statutory compliance in Pakistan.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., ERP, QuickBooks).
- Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities and Duties To assist in achieving departmental objectives through;
- Ensure timely compliance with all statutory requirements including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Withholding Tax filings.
- Prepare and maintain statutory ledgers, registers, and documentation.
- Assist in preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Reconcile statutory accounts and ensure proper record-keeping of tax challans, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Monitor changes in tax and regulatory laws and update management on implications.
- Support internal control implementation and ensure compliance with company’s financial policies and SOPs.
- Assist in monthly closings, financial reconciliations, and management reporting as required.
- Coordinate with banks, consultants, and internal departments for statutory and financial matters.
